Today’s modern family program has evolved from traditional standards to a new order of work-live environments, where  children and parents require creative studios, inter-connective offices, personal consultation studies and large extended family gathering areas.  The residence produces complexity and desires to maintain a house which accommodates and encourages artistic spaces, intimate thoughtful expression and enriched daily living with real quality. Each family member is afforded a separate suite.

Within this program, there is a need to detail and carefully study each poetic resolution and blend tastefulness, art, technical solutions and rustic thoughtfulness.

As an architect, this is a classic, excellent project with ideal clients, site,  materials with a humane scale and a real desire to bring together many talented practitioners, craftsman and designers to blend multiple layers of consideration together in a cohesive home.
